Dollar hits Rs108 in open market
KARACHI: The rupee value further declined on Wednesday as the dollar hit Rs 108 in the open market, Geo News reported.

According to sources, the greenback witnessed an increase of 20 paisas to hit Rs108 in the open market.

Pakistan has to make a payment of 67 million dollars to the International Monetary Fund (IMF) this year, said the economic experts. Due to this, the foreign exchange reserves have been under pressure, weakening the rupee value.

The rupee has witnessed a decline of about 7 percent against the dollar so far this year.
