ISLAMABAD: Khalid Ammad, a former staff officer and media coordinator of Zaid Hamid, has filed a constitution petition in the Supreme Court of Pakistan, seeking probe against his former boss for provoking Pakistan Army Jawans against the high command.
The applicant, in his 82-page petition submitted that Zaid Hamid had been spewing venom against the democracy, judiciary, and the army, which clearly constitutes treason.
Khalid Ammad made Zaid Hamid, interior ministry, defence ministry, Director General Military Intelligence and Chairman Pakistan Telecommunication Authority respondents in his petition.
The petition prayed the court to order a probe against Zaid Hamid, putting his name on the Exist Control List (ECL) and blocking his websites.
