KARACHI/LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has lamented that some political commentators and anchor persons were declaring Jaamt-e-Islami’s “anti-army rhetoric” as a political matter.
He said; “logic of an individual or a party, which levels baseless allegations against country’s armed forces and avoids terming their soldiers, who sacrifice their lives for their country, as martyrs while declares murderers as martyrs, is beyond my comprehension”.
He said that JI leaders were criticizing the armed forces despite killing of its army officers and jawans at the hands of terrorists.
Hussain also criticized the government, for what he said, its silence over the statements of JI leaders.
