Two blasts near Imam Bargah leave eight injured in Karachi

KARACHI: As many as eight people including two policemen and a Rangers' soldier were injured when a bomb went off near an Imam Bargah in North Nazimabad.

According to reports, it was the second blast which took place within the short span of an hour after an explosion occurred near the worship place in Pahar Ganj area, injuring a child and damaging a vehicle.

Several people, including law enforcers and media men were gathered at the scene of the first blast when the second took place. The injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

A reporter and a cameraman of a private TV channel were also among the injured, hospital sources said.
