ISLAMABAD: Rejecting allegations against the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and its chairman Imran Khan, party spokeswoman Shireen Mazari said that Qaumi Watan Party leader Sikandar Sherpao levelled baseless allegations against the PTI chief in a bid to hide corruption of his party ministers.
In a statement issued in response to Sherpao’s allegations levelled today at a press conference, Mazari said that the QWP leader was making personnel attacks, which was against moral values.
Earlier, addressing a press conference QWPs’ senior leader Sikandar Sherpao announced to quit the provincial government and told media that they were not fond of joining the government instead it was PTI, who invited them to join the coalition.
He said that the QWP had asked the PTI to come up with a clear policy on corruption but Imran Khan’s party didn’t pay any heed. Sherpao said that the PTI was under political pressure and was trying to befool the people.
