Four troops among 7 injured in Bannu suicide blast

BANNU: Seven persons including four security men sustained injuries when a suicide attack targeted their vehicle in Bannu area on Saturday, Geo News reported.

According to the sources, a suicide bomber attacked and blew himself near a security forces van near River Kurram bridge when it was on its way to Bannu from Kohat. As a result of the blast, four troops and three passers-by were injured who were shifted to CMH, Bannu for treatment.

The vehicle was completely destroyed due to the explosion.

Security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and initiated investigation.
