LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain Sunday expressed his shock and grief over the Rawalpindi incidents and appealed to the Ulema of two sects to investigate a report first rather than reacting to it quickly.
In a statement issued here today, Altaf Hussain observed that the country was passing through a critical phase while the enemy was making all kinds of attempts to weaken the country.
“In these circumstances the people will have to act wisely rather than being overcome by sentiments,” the MQM Chief added.
He appealed to the Ulema of Shia and Sunni schools of thought to confirm a report before reacting to it quickly.
