JOHANNESBURG: Pakistan captain Mohammad Hafeez won the toss and put South Africa into bat in the first Twenty20 International of the two-match series here at the New Wanderers Stadium on Wednesday.
Match delayed due to rain but there was no over reduction in the match.
Pakistan had only 13 players to choose from, because Shoaib Malik and Abdul Razzaq returned home with injuries.
However, they rested off-spinner Saeed Ajmal and included seamer Anwar Ali and allrounder Bilawal Bhatti in their side. Bilawal Bhatti made his international debut.
South Africa also rested AB de Villiers, and Ryan McLaren was not included while Morne Morkel and JP Duminy returned in the team.
