ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan Wednesday termed the riots in Rawalpindi as a conspiracy to spread disorder across the country, Geo News reported.
“Both internal and external elements are involved in this conspiracy,” Imran Khan said during his meeting with the head of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, Allama Nasir Abbas here.
He said the Rawalpindi incident also points to the failure of governance by the administration.
Today, Imran Khan, said the country imperatively needs religious harmony among people belonging to different schools of thought.
The PTI Chief demanded of the government to conduct a speedy investigation into the Rawalpindi incident bring the culprits of to justice.
On the occasion, Allama Nasir Abbas called upon all the religious and political forces of the country to join hands and foil the nefarious designs of the enemy.
