LAHORE: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Amir Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman Thursday expressed reservations over Protection of Pakistan Ordinance, saying the Ordinance is unacceptable in view of Islamic teachings, democratic norms and fundamental human rights, Geo News reported.
He was talking to media men following the meeting of JUI-F’s Central Committee here.
Commenting on drone attacks, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman said in this connection the US has lost all the trust and demanded of the Pakistan government to speak with the US on the issue in categorical terms.
He said he has convened a meeting of National Jirga for November 28, linking the country’s progress with the improved law and order situation.
