PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led sit-ins against drone attacks continued for the second day on Monday. PTI protestors checked trailers carrying containers on their way to Afghanistan to block all Nato supplies.
After an overnight break, protestors gathered once again on highways in Peshawar and Nowshera blocking all trailers carrying supplies for Nato forces in Afghanistan.
A handful of activists could be seen on Hayatabad Road in Peshawar stopping trailers and checking the containers by force in a bid to block any Nato supply.
Similarly in Nowshera, PTI workers have staged a sit-in at Khairabad Attock Bridge blocking Nato supplies
Meanwhile, police registered cases against 35 PTI activists for assaulting drivers of trailers heading to Afghanistan during their Sunday protests blocking Nato supplies.
