RAWALPINDI: City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Akhtar Umer Hayat Lalika told on Wednesday that eleven persons were killed during the violent inter-group clashes that erupted on 10th Moharram, Geo News reported.
While addressing a press conference here today, CPO Rawalpindi told that eleven persons were killed during the Ashura riots at Raja Bazaar and revealed that it did not include any student of Jamia Taleem-ul-Quran.
He said that the social media was spreading false news and refuted all reports regarding the toll and casualties including Jamia Taleem-ul-Quran students.
