PESHAWAR: Sit-ins staged by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s ruling alliance against Nato supplies to and from Afghanistan led by the Pakistan Tehreek Insaf enter fifth day today (Thursday).
The protesters have been blocking the supplies at five different points in KP against US drone attacks.
Dozens of trucks were stopped by political workers on Wednesday to ensure that the containers were not meant for Nato forces stationed in Afghanistan.
PTI says a case should be lodged against US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) chief and its station chief in Islamabad since the unmanned aircraft are operated by the secret agency.
PTI chairman Imran Khan has long been opposing US drone strikes dubbing them as counter productive and a violation of Islamabad’s territorial sovereignty.
