KARACHI: Federal Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar Tuesday claimed that government will be able to bring the dollar down to a level where it was used to be available at Rs98 across the country.
Speaking in Geo News programme ‘Aaj Kamran Khan Kay Saath’, the Finance Minister said a special cell is being set up to work on economic package. Prime Minister himself will be heading this cell, he added.
He said the law permits the government to take measures with an aim to broaden the network of tax and that every single step to be announced by the Prime Minster will have a legal cover.
Ishaq Dar said Pakistan was in a great need of investment and industrial expansion, adding presently there is speculation going on in the country.
