LAHORE: Pakistan Muslism League-Q chief Chauhdry Shujaat Hussain, once an ally of Pervez Musharraf, has termed treason trial against the former dictator without cabinet consent as political victimization.
In a statement on Sunday, he said that the issue of treason trial against Musharraf was never discussed at a formal meeting of the cabinet, which he said was against principles.
Shujaat also warned of serious consequences which he said might come to surface due to some reasons which didn’t elaborate.
The Q-league chief also criticized the government for increasing prices of flour, rice and other edible items. He said that the government had forgotten the promises which the PML-N made during election campaign.
