CNG closure: association to hold protests from Monday

ISLAMABAD: All Pakistan Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) Association has announced to stage demonstrations to protest against the gas supply closure from Monday.

Chairman APCNGA, Ghiyas Paracha said the transporters are also poised to hold their protest on Monday to give vent to their grievances over closure of CNG supply.

Paracha said his association will stage its protest demonstration at Kutcheri Chowk, Rawalpindi.

The government has stopped CNG supply to the CNG pumping stations in line with its earlier decision to suspend the gas supply to CNG retailers in the winter season to ensure its provision to the domestic consumers.
