Khawaja Asif warns domestic consumers of load shedding

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif has cautioned that the domestic consumers would face more load shedding unwillingly for few weeks, Geo News reported.

Khawaja Asif issued this statement over expected increase in power outages by National Transmission and Despatch Company (NTDC).

The minister said there was pressure on gas power plants owing to annual closure of canals and to ensure gas supply to industries as a result the country would face load shedding for few weeks.

Khawaja Asif apologized the nation in advance for this inconvenience. He also appealed the domestic consumers to save the electricity.
