ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has welcomed Pakistan-India Director General Military Operations (DGMOs) meeting at Wagah, Geo News reported.
Speaking to media during a ceremony held at Awan-e-Sadr on the occasion of 137th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Wednesday, Pervaiz Rasheed said ‘steps are taken to move forward.’
The information minister said relations between the states are based on mutual interests which are to be safeguarded. He said whoever rules in India it will not affect the bilateral ties.
He said all the states of the region should live with peace, adding that all have to fight underdevelopment, poverty and illiteracy jointly.
