Cylinder blast kills labourer, injures 30 at Gujranwala factory
Gas cylinder explosion sparks blaze at factory, causes roof to collapse; Rescue operation underway

GUJRANWALA: An explosion caused by cylinder burst claimed the life of one labourer and injured 30 others on Wednesday at a factory in Gujranwala.
Rescue workers who reached the location after the gas cylinder burst said a blaze engulfed part of the factory, while the roof of the building also partially collapsed due to the impact of the explosion.
The factory was located in the Bilal Ganj market area of Gujranwala.
Rescue workers said that 15 factory workers had been safely recovered from under the rubble, while the injured were rushed to the district hospital.
The rescue operation was underway at the site of explosion.
