QUETTA: Balochistan Frontier Corps in raids at the two bomb-making factories forced their closure after recovering huge arms cache in Chaman and Toba Achakzai on Saturday here, Geo News reported.
Briefing the Commander southern command, Lt. General Nasir Khan Janjua and FC IG Major General Ijaz Shahid, FC Operations Commander, Lt. Col. Zafar Iqbal disclosed this here.
He said that the huge arms cache recovered from the closed down factories included suicide jackets, different sorts of bombs, mines and anti-tank mines. Besides suicide bombers were also trained there.
Lt. Col. Zafar Iqbal said that each factory had four compounds where high-tech laboratories were set up where different types of chemicals and explosive materials prepared were being tested, while maps of Pakistan and Afghanistan were kept in one of the compounds for training suicide bombers to hit desired locations in the two countries.
