Musharraf should express his views in court: Rasheed

ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed has said that General (retd) Pervez Musharraf should express his views in the court.

Talking to media here Monday, the information minister said that it is up to Asif Ali Zardari and Pervez Musharraf to decide whether the ‘Billa’ exists or not.

He said that the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) workers’ are not being trained in line with the democratic values. “PTI should adopt democratic way for pressing their demands.”

Rasheed further said that use of force by the PTI’s workers in Karachi was highly objectionable.

Over recent talks between Pakistan and India on DGMOs level, the minister said that the meeting was successful and termed it as significant progress for the New Year.

He said that Prime Minister has issued special directives to remove the hurdles in the Youth Loan Scheme. He said that a loan seeker can get guarantee from more than one guarantor. Now the relatives of the loan seeker can also give guarantee for that person, he added.
