Musharraf ill, won’t appear in court: Kasuri

ISLAMABAD: Former president Pervez Musharraf’s counsel Ahmad Raza Kasuri Sunday said that the former being ill would not appear in the special court on Monday.

Talking to Geo News on Sunday, Kasuri said if Pervez Musharraf didn’t get the medical report today, he would be requesting the court verbally to exempt his client from appearing before the court.

The Musharraf’s counsel said, “It is known to the court and the entire world that Pervez Musharraf is ill, he is not a common man, the entire world knows him, he is ill and will not appear in the court tomorrow.”

He further said that efforts were afoot to obtain the doctors’ report on his illness so that the same could be presented in the court.
