Supporters of Musharraf should be held accountable: Shah

SUKKUR: Opposition leader in the National Assembly, Khursheed Shah said that those who supported Pervez Musharraf should also be held accountable since punishment to an individual would not be acceptable for the world.

Speaking to media on Monday, Shah said that October 12 toppling of Nawaz- government was a bigger crime than November 3 proclamation of emergency.

According to Shah it seemed an agreement had been reached and Musharraf would leave the country. He added that the purpose of the trial of Musharraf for the actions on November 3 was to save 40-50 people.
