PESHAWAR: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Tuesday arrested former chief minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s brother-in-law and a former advisor for their involvement in a Rs. 1.8 billion scandal relating to the purchase of arms for police, Geo News reported
Sources added, that Kyber Pukhtunkhwa (KPK) former chief minister, Amir Haider Khan Hoti’s advisor for police department Niaz Ali Shah and brother-in-law Raza Ali Khan are among those arrested in the arms purchase scandal.
KPK former I. G. Malik Naveed is already in NAB’s custody in the arms purchase scandal. Malik Naveed and other accused are blamed to have caused a loss of Rs1.80 billion in the purchase of arms for the police.
