Musharraf's medical reports submitted before special bench

ISLAMABAD: Former president Pervez Musharraf’s medical reports were presented in a sealed envelope before the special court bench hearing the retired General's high treason case on Tuesday, Geo News reported.

The medical reports from the Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) had been summoned by the court during proceedings yesterday.

Upon receiving the medical reports, the bench ordered the prosecution and defence counsels to study the reports and present their arguments at the next hearing while the bench will deliver its verdict on Thursday.

The former president was also given two days exemption from appearing before the court.
