Two bogies of Business Train derail at Rohri Station

SUKKUR: Two bogies of Karachi-bound Business Train derailed at Rohri Railway Station near Sukkur on Saturday morning, Geo News reported.

Details have it that a Business Train was speeding towards Karachi from Lahore when two of its bogies derailed at Rohri Station early morning and disrupted the railway traffic on down track.

Fortunately, there was no casualty or injury to any one due to derailment, sources told.

The cause of derailment was being investigated while the Railways department has initiated efforts to push the bogies back on track.

The train service on the down lines was disrupted due to the incident and the traffic was diverted on up tracks. Tezgam Express that was on its way to Karachi from Rawalpindi was also halted at Rohri Station.
