Thick fog blankets Lahore; air traffic suspended

LAHORE: Dense fog continued to blanket Lahore and its adjoining areas, suspending all flights at Allama Iqbal airport.

According to motorway spokesman, the motorway has also been blocked for traffic from Lahore to Pindi Bhattian due to zero visibility.

The spokesman said that the traffic has been shifted to other alternate routes to G T Road. Traffic official issuing advisory said that the travelers must put on fog lights while driving and maintain distance with other vehicles.

The flights which were due to arrive at Lahore airport has been diverted to other cities.
