PM summons special cabinet meeting today

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has summoned a special meeting of the Federal Cabinet here Monday in which draft of National Security Policy would be presented for approval.

According to government official, there would be a single-point agenda in the meeting that is to approve the draft of National Security Policy.

The interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan would apprise the cabinet members about the efforts for initiating peace talks with the Taliban, the official said.

The minister is also likely to brief the cabinet over the ongoing targeted operation against the criminals in Karachi.
