Nawabshah school resumes classes after tragedy

NAWABSHAH: After remaining closed for 12 days, the Bright Future School in Daulatpur resumed classes today. The atmosphere remained somber as students and teachers continued to mourn the loss of 19 students who were killed in a tragic accident on 15th January.

Twenty two people including 19 students lost their lives when their van was crushed by a truck as they made their way home after attending a quiz competition.

Yaseen Maqsood Fareesa, Fareeha and Iqra had grabbed the first position in the competition. Those who were injured in the accident continue to be treated at a private hospital in Karachi.
