ISLAMABAD: Although former interior minister Rehman Malik has termed talks with Taliban as unconstitutional, he congratulated the government for its efforts for peace.
Speaking to reporters outside the parliament house on Monday, he said that the TTP was a banned outfit and no talks should be held with them.
He also called for an investigation into arrest of two men for their alleged role in the murder of MQM leader Imran Farooq.
Malik also opposed what he said media trial of MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
