ISLAMABAD: Foreign secretaries from Pakistan and India will meet in Islamabad on January 15, 2016, the foreign ministry informed the National Assembly on Friday.
In a response to a written question, the foreign ministry informed the House that the foreign secretaries would discuss modalities for the comprehensive bilateral dialogue and its timeframe during the meeting in Islamabad.
The comprehensive dialogue will include all outstanding issues including the Jammu and Kashmir dispute, as had been stated in the joint statement issued during Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj's visit to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, the House was informed that a total of 108,906 visas were issued by the Pakistan missions in the USA during the tenure of the incumbent government.
Responding to during the Q&A session, the Minister for Commerce Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan on behalf of minister for Foreign Affairs said that mostly visas were issued to people of Pakistani origin after following all requirements.
Giving the breakup of the visas, he said that Pakistan mission Washington issued 27,428 visas, Los Angeles 15,462 visas, Houston 22,200 visas, New York 29,584 visas and Chicago 14,232 visas.
