KARACHI: Muttahidat Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain and former president and co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party Asif Ali Zardari had a telephonic conversation, says a statement of MQM issued here on Tuesday.
Both the leaders discussed law and order situation and detention of MQM workers and subjecting them to alleged torture by Sindh police.
According to the statement Asif Zardari assured that he would ask Sindh Chief Minister to take action against the police personnel involved in alleged illegal activities.
He said that everyone living in Sindh is a Sindhi and they must work together for the progress and prosperity of the province. (APP)
