Karachi: Two accused killed in alleged police encounter

KARACHI: Two accused were killed in an alleged police encounter at Malir Memon Goth on Wednesday here, Geo News reported.

Police said that a raid on a tip-off was conducted in the wee hours today at Memon Goth in Malir area, when the accused sighting the police party opened fire and in retaliation two of the accused were killed, while their other accomplices fled away.

Police said that both the accused belonging to Lyati gang war were wanted by the police. They have been identified as Shan alias Shani and Arif Billa. Modern weapons including hand grenades were also recovered from the accused.
