According to police, Professor Dr Javed Qazi was killed and his driver injured when unidentified assailants riding motorcycles opened fire on his car in block I of North Nazimabad area today.
The deceased doctor was working at Karachi Medical and Dental College (KMDC). His driver was also injured as a result of firing and was shifted to hospital for treatment.
Police reached the spot and initiated investigation.
