Musharraf likely to appear before Special Court today

ISLAMABAD: Former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf is expected to appear before Special Court today (Tuesday) amid tight security, Geo News reported.

An unusual movement of security personnel could be witnessed outside Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) where Musharraf is admitted.

More than 1000 security officials are deployed from AFIC to special court for his security.

Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) had also cleared the special court premises.

Earlier, the Special Court had reserved its verdict for conducting treason trial of Pervez Musharraf under Army Act.

The special court constituted to hear the treason case of former president had summoned him on February 18.
