SUKKUR: Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has stressed for immediate action against terrorism, saying if the government did not take the step at this time it would badly damage the country and the power of rulers, Geo News reported.
Talking to Geo News here Saturday, Shah said: “dialogue with Taliban has lost significance, therefore, the government should take action now.”
Khursheed Shah said terrorism in Sindh and Balochistan is being carried out because action against Taliban was not being taken.
Commenting on the Nov 03 emergency declared by former president General (retd) Pervez Musharraf, the opposition leader said Musharraf had taken this step as an army chief.
He said the doors of Sindh government are open if the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) wants to join despite severe allegations it had leveled against the provincial government.
