Karachi: Sindh govt lifts ban on motorcycle pillion riding

KARACHI: Sindh minister for information, Sharjeel Inam Memon, Monday announced the motorcycle pillion riding, which was banned on January 26 in Karachi, would become legal from Tuesday, February 25, 2014, Geo News reported.

“We have not extended the ban keeping in view the problems faced by the public at large”, the provincial minister said while talking to media here.

He, however, added that the ban could be re-imposed if needed.

The ban was lifted at around 12:00 AM Tuesday.
