ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has submitted an adjournment motion to the National Assembly Secretariat against Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan for inviting Taliban militants to play a cricket match.
Opposition Leader Syed Khurshid Shah said that the minister ridiculed the security forces and the people.
Shah was chairing a meeting of parliamentary parties of opposition parties in the National Assembly on Tuesday.
Khan came under severe criticism shortly after extending the offer to the Taliban.
