Khursheed Shah jumped the gun on NSP: Ch Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Interior, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Wednesday said he was stunned at Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah’s comment on National Security Policy (NSP) before going through its draft.

Speaking from the floor of National Assembly, Chaudhry Nisar said the parties that issue contradictory statements on Twitter and in the assembly appear to be suffering from some kind of confusion.

He regretted that no steps were taken in the past for protecting the country despite massive terror attacks and the killings of thousands of people as a result. Therefore, he added, ‘subjecting our government to criticism is illogical’.
