ISLAMABAD: Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that a case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) could be lodged under article 6 for inviting army to take over, Geo News reported.
Speaking in Geo News programme CapitalTalk, Khawaja Saad Rafique said Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government has formulated a policy against terrorism, which he said could not be formed for past five years.
In the programme, MQM’s Senator Babar Ghauri said government policy against terrorism was not clear.
It may be noted here that MQM chief Altaf Hussain had said if the government did not render support for elimination of terrorism, then the Pakistan Army should take over the power for dealing with this menace on its own.
