Unabated terror renders ceasefire meaningless: Fazl-ur-Rehman

ISLAMABAD: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Chief, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman Monday said that today’s incident of Kutchery carnage following the Talilban declaration of holding fire has raised concerns, as it has apparently rendered the announcement of ceasefire meaningless.

Talking to media persons here, Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman noted that a leader of an allied party of the ruling coalition said the government had been coming up with assurances till yesterday that Islamabad was a secure city.

He said not only the government but the Taliban should also try to take action, as their announcement of ceasefire has also been sabotaged.
