COAS Sharif chairs corps commanders’ conference

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif is presiding over the corps commanders conference at General Headquarters (GHQ) on Friday here, Geo News reported.

The conference would deliberate upon matters pertaining to internal security situation across the country including North Waziristan, ceasefire with the Taliban and inclusion of military representative in government’s committee formed to hold talks with the militants.

The army chief would also take corps commanders into confidence over his visit to United Arab Emirates (UAE), the military official said.
