LAHORE: Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Tasadduq Hussain Jilani on Saturday said that the dispensation of expeditious and low cost justice was the prime responsibility of the judiciary, Geo News reported.
Addressing a meeting of the National Judicial Policy Making Committee here, the Chief Justice said that it was the responsibility of the judiciary to perform well under the constitution. The government was asked to increase the number of judges in the courts facilitating the dispensation of justice on a fast track and at a low cost.
Chief Justice of Pakistan underlined the need of strengthening of judicial institutions in the country.
