KARACHI: Seven persons were injured in gun firing all across the city, while Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker wounded yesterday succumbed to his injuries, Geo News reported Tuesday morning.
MQM condemning the incident has demanded the arrest of the murderers immediately.
According to details, general stores’ owner, salesman and one customer were injured in firing at Disco Bakery stop in Gulshan-e-Iqbal. Police said that the gunman came in a car, barged into the shop, opened fire and then picked up some money giving it a colour of robbery.
In another incident, unknown armed persons storming into a bakery opened fire injuring two persons at Pak Colony here. Police said it was a case of robbery and firing took place during the resistance.
One person was injured in firing by some unknown armed accused at Sherpao colony in Landhi area.
A local security guard at Patel Para was injured in firing.
MQM worker, Itrat Hussain Rizvi had sustained head injury in last night firing by armed persons at North Karachi, who during treatment in the hospital succumbed to injuries this morning. The deceased was sitting at his CD shop when the assailants targeted him.
