ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court of Pakistan will begin hearing of a suo moto notice of the death of a rape victim, who set herself ablaze in Muzaffargarh, today (Monday), Geo News reported.
A three-member bench of SC headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Tassaduq Hussain Jillani will hear the case.
The court had issued notice to Advocate General Punjab, Inspector General (IG) of Punjab Police and District Police Officer (DPO), Muzaffargarh, to personally appear on March 17 with detailed report.
Meanwhile, SC will also hear suo moto notice cases of deaths of children in Tharparkar and also F-8 Kachehri attack.
