MQM is last hope for prosperity of Pakistan: Altaf

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has said that his party is the last hope for the survival, security, development and prosperity of Pakistan.

Talking to Rabita Committee members and the party’s elected representatives on the occasion of 'Foundation Day of MQM, he congratulated them on the occasion of the foundation day.

He added that MQM's struggle against injustices is a beacon of hope for the oppressed and deprived people across the globe.

Altaf said we had experienced moments of joy and sorrow in our 30-year-old struggle. He added, "In our struggle we had suffered grief, sorrow, worries and repression and destruction."

"My committed and devoted companions have experienced repression bravely and some of them sacrificed their lives in our struggle against injustices. Their sacrifices have made MQM a powerful movement.”
