Killings of MQM workers on rise in Karachi, Hyderabad: Sattar

KARACHI: Central leader Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), Dr Farooq Sattar on Wednesday reiterated that more and more workers of his party were being picked up only to be found dead later.

Addressing a press conference here, Dr Sattar claimed that the number of dead workers soared as the court cases suffered delays.

“The purpose of holding this press conference is to make the people aware of the agony being suffered by the missing workers and their families,” he said, lamenting the government and concerned institutions should also sympathize with the victims.

He demanded of the concerned authorities to trace those who are behind the killings of MQM workers and sending their bodies as gift presents. “If the workers are facing any charges or involved in any case, they be brought before the court of law,” he added.
