Official sources said that the security forces were conducting search operation at Pedarag and adjoining areas in Turbat, when some unknown armed persons started firing and five of them were killed in retaliation by the security forces.
Following the exchange of firing, eight suspected persons were also taken into custody. Further investigations underway.
