Women, children amid 14 injured in Quetta explosion

QUETTA: At least fourteen persons including the women and children have sustained injuries in an explosion on Sariab Road on Saturday here, Geo News reported.

Sources said it was difficult at this stage to report with certainty as to who were the target of the blast, as law enforcing agencies mobiles keep patrolling this most restive area of the city.

Police said that the nearby hotels and houses in this residential-cum- commercial area of the city have been damaged. The explosive material was planted in a rickshaw, police said.

The injured have been shifted to the hospital.
