GWADAR: The authorities have secured control of a radar post which had been hijacked by unknown armed men in Pasni. A security man lost his life in the attack while another was injured.
According to DIG Moazzam Jah, the attackers escaped from the scene and a search operation has been launched to arrest the armed men. Additional enforcements have been dispatched to Pasni, he added.
Spokesman of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Abid Qaimkhani said the authority’s staff at the radar post has remained safe.
Earlier, the unidentified armed men attempted to take control of the Pasni radar port, one kilometer from the airport. They had also held a security man hostage.
